The month of September will be a busy one. I'm going to need to channel all my creative energy to an exciting illustration job due early October (hopefully I can share it here eventually!) Plus, students come back to campus in about a month, so this is crunch time at work, too.

So I don't expect to post much in the next few weeks. See you in a few!

What's for dinner? (in color)

A color rendering of this sketch. It looks a lot better in real life, I promise! Especially color-wise. Unfortunately, the piece is juuuuust too big for my scanner and my camera's on the fritz. Technology can be a drag sometimes, I do have to say.

P.S. You can project your favorite brownish soupy food into that pot if you want. In my mind, it's spicy peanut sauce (I make it differently every time, but my recipe's something like this one.)

Doodles from the margins. I just came back from a wonderful work conference in Atlanta, and all the talk there about higher education seems to have gotten me back in some of my college note-taking habits. :)

Today's my blog's first birthday, so I've been sketching lots of muffins and bagels, hoping to debut a new and more colorful blog header. It's not going to happen today, but stay tuned!!
