1) Christmas music, especially "O Holy Night" and anything by Nat King Cole
2) It's a Wonderful Life ("Mr. Martini, how about some wine?")
3) baking cookies (so far, pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and chocolate chip mint cookies, and I've found an intriguing recipe for chai snickerdoodles)
4) decorating the tree and remembering the story behind each ornament
5) making Christmas cards
6) reading The Polar Express, The Night Before Christmas, and the Christmas story from Luke before going to bed on Christmas Eve (yes, still. I insist. My siblings sometimes roll their eyes.)
7) Christmas shopping at Ten Thousand Villages and Half Price Books
8) ice skating on Fountain Square
9) brunch on Christmas morning with our old next door neighbors
10) A Muppet Family Christmas ("Watch out for the icy patch!")
11) family time!! (in Cincinnati and a road trip to Missouri)
